About
Hi, I'm Shyam.
I build products because I love solving messy, ambiguous problems and translating human behaviors into scalable growth systems.
My Story
My journey started at IIT Kharagpur, studying engineering. While I appreciated the analytical rigor, I quickly found myself fascinated by how people interact with technology and how software features can be optimized to drive business outcomes.
This led me to transition from core engineering into product growth. I like bridging the gap between design, engineering, and GTM strategy. Over the last few years, I've optimized onboarding flows, run growth experiments, managed marketing budgets, and built tools from scratch.
I prefer building things over just talking about them. Whether it's optimizing search ranking loops or writing integrations for stateful AI agents, I enjoy getting my hands dirty in the codebase to make products highly functional and cost-efficient.

Beyond Product
Outside work, I enjoy slowing down. You'll usually find me travelling - taking a overnight bus to Uttarakhand, playing cricket, or building side projects that solve small problems. Those moments away from the screen often end up giving me the best product ideas.
I love meeting new people and learn more about their perspective and experiences.
